Sometimes I have to do product photography…either for my 9 to 5 job or for clients.
It’s always a challenge. What angle will this look best at? How should I present it? On a plain white background? On a mannequin? What about a lifestyle setting?
Recently I had the opportunity to do some pretty cut and dried work for Adel Outfitters, who needed some new product shots of some of their more popular items. If you know Adel Outfitters at all…or owner Chad Bush…you know they carry a little bit of EVERYTHING. And for this job, from Fishing Reels, to Rifle Scopes, to Hats, and holsters…they needed photos of nearly everything in the store, so I packed up my light box and good lenses and set up in their back room to start getting the shots.
The results are below for just a few of their products…only about a million more to go. But I’m having a good time at it…lol
